Beneath the Surface is a large-scale print book for Cornish Lithium about the history of mining art in Cornwall. Working with editor and director Chris Tuff. Coming late 2024.
Brand, book design and production, and the Squarespace website Mothers2B for a team based in Florida and Austin, Texas. I have known Jonathan Tommey for 25 years and was fortunate to be chosen to work with him and his daughter, Bella, on this massive project.

Art Director for print magazine Autism File, sold in WHSmith and online, in the UK and the US. I developed, designed and produced the US version of Autism File which was nominated for an ACE International award.
Art Director for print magazine Autism Science Digest: The Journal of Autism One (sold in Barnes and Noble in America). Developed house style, typeset layouts, illustrations, photography, advertising and print ready artwork. Adverts, brochures, bill boards, marketing projects, campaign concepts, programmes, flyers, books, digital and printed graphics for B2B clients.

Bull Card Systems
Studio Manager & Graphic Designer (1997-1999)
I worked for Bull Card Systems for 2 years, upgrading and setting up a new digital studio, installing new equipment and introducing a new set of procedures to their complex printing system for producing plastic printed cards. As well as running the studio and employing a repro assistant, I worked on developing new and existing designs for bank and store cards, ensuring the artwork adhered to the strict guidelines of Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

I studied graphic design for 4 years and qualified in 1988 as the digital age was approaching. My training focused on design for print and typography and it was one of the best times of my life. Trained in old school techniques, 4 years later I was adapting them to the Apple Desktop Publishing for high end reprographic printing.
